As the weather warms up and Spring begins to bloom, it is prime time to get outside and into your community! Roswell in Spring not only has beautiful landscaping near the Chattahoochee River and downtown, but it is full of events right down the road from the new townhomes at RiverWalk. Spring cleaning is the perfect time to give your lifestyle a refresh and move into the bright homes that are close to these seven spring things to do in Roswell.
Flashlight Egg Hunt
Coming up soon, get ready for an egg hunt like no other! Search for treasures using nothing but flashlights! You’ll want to keep an eye out for one of the golden eggs, too, to redeem for a basket of prizes. Kids or adults are welcome to the Flashlight Egg Hunt, and children under 4-years-old have a separate space to search.
Spring Craft Bazaar
If you’re looking to decorate your new home, the Spring Craft Bazaar is the perfect place to do so! You can purchase unique handmade items from local vendors such as fine arts, photography, quilted items, jewelry, and so much more. Proceeds benefit the seniors and those with special needs. This is a great chance to get to know your local artisans.
Weekly Cooking Classes
Want to sharpen your culinary skills now that you have your gourmet kitchen at RiverWalk? On select Tuesday nights in Spring, chef Wendy Gay hosts cooking classes at Barrington Hall. Covering foods from Europe and America, you’ll get to learn from an expert and enjoy complimentary wine served with dinner. Plus, a free mini-tour of Barrington Hall is included as well.
Yoga in the Park
Like your morning yoga with deep breaths of fresh air? During April and May, enjoy fitness in the park starting with yoga on April 6th. Start your day off with a relaxing morning in the Roswell Town Square with other fitness enthusiasts and friends.
Mimosa Hall & Gardens
On April 22, you can be a part of a ribbon cutting ceremony for Mimosa Hall & Gardens. This is a beautiful Greek Revival house surrounded by five acres of gardens. After some devastation in the 1800s, the land and home became an inspiring monument of survival. You can learn more about the rich history of Roswell and visit the beautiful landscape at this event.
Roswell Night of Lights: A Celebration of the Earth
Keep Roswell Beautiful invites you to Riverside Park on April 27, for the first-ever Earth Month celebration! This free event will be educational, inspiring, and inclusive as you celebrate the natural world. Building up to the lantern parade, you can join your Roswell community in making your own lantern for the event.
While the Chattahoochee River and Trail is just a stone’s throw from your new townhome at RiverWalk, our new Roswell community also offers a dog park for your furry family members. Surrounded by natural landscape, you can enjoy quality time with your pet and your neighboring dog owners this Spring.
